Exterior views of Chicago Union Station and along the Metra Electric line through Grant Park.

Metra has a map and information about the Roosevelt Road station at their official Web site. This station is located along and serves the Metra / Metra Electric and the the NICTD / South Shore Line.

Rail yards need to store a wide variety of material, typically stored in an orderly mess. Perhaps these photographs might be useful for modeling.

The steel bridge formerly carried pedestrian traffic. It is now closed, and the largely-wooden bridge from which this photgraph was taken provides access to the station and lakefront.
