Metra 3006 Maintenance of way modified box car in the Roosevelt Road Yard. The steel bridge formerly carried pedestrian traffic. It is now closed, and the largely-wooden bridge from which this photgraph was taken provides access to the station and lakefront.

Note the row of cut brackets along the centerline of the roof, suggesting that it once had a roof walk, since cut off to comply with FRA safety rules.
