The CHTT reporting mark has become part of the Union Pacific system.
The Chicago Heights Terminal Transfer Railroad, a switching line at Chicago Heights, was purchased by the Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railway in 1927. The Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railway was merged with Missouri Pacific on 15 October 1976. The Missouri Pacific merged with the Union Pacific system on 22 December 1982.
