This train of CSX Transportation loaded ballast hopper cars were photographed while stopped on the siding beside the O'Hare Transfer Metra station. Conditions permitted photographing about two dozen cars, including a number of the cars from above, as well as of both sides of several. The simularities and uniqueness of the various cars is illustrated. [17 February 1999]
