Union Pacific 9738 GE Dash 9-44CW (UP C44-9W) diesel-electric locomotive

UP 9738 was built in August 1994, GE C44-9W, builder number 47884. Wrecked on 15 May 1995 at Flomaton, Alabama, while in service on CSX, sustained $500,000 damage, retired by UP on 23 October 1995, repaired and reinstated to UP roster, 28 June 1996.
