Roosevelt Road Yard
Rail yards need to store a wide variety of material, typically stored in an orderly mess. Perhaps these photographs might be useful for modeling.
Harold Kept many of his photos on sites which no longer exist.
|Metra 3006 Maintenance of way modified box car in the Roosevelt Road Yard. The steel bridge formerly carried pedestrian traffic. It is now closed, and the largely-wooden bridge from which this photgraph was taken provides access to the station and lakefront.|
