STLH 5449: Builder: EMD, Model: SD40-2, B/N: 786264-5, B/D: 1980, Notes: NRE / DRGW-5402; sold. Units 5447-5449 were initially leased from NRE in May 1993, and were purchased in June 1994. All are rebuilds of units wrecked on their former roads. These three units arrived in various shades of primer/paint which they wear to this day. They were relettered STLH in Feb,Feb,Jan 1998 respectively. 5449 was originally built as an SD40T-2. [source Canadian Pacific Railway Diesel Locomotive Roster, compiled by William D.
