C&NW 6504: Builder's Date: Dec 1967, Builder's Number: 33808, EMD SD45, 58 units (6500-6557), C-C, 20-654E3 engine, 62:15 gear ratio, 3,600 horsepower, 390,000 pounds operating weight. First number: PRR 6175, Second number: PC 6175, Third number: CR 6175, built as Pennsylvania Railroad units, to Penn Central in 1968, to Conrail in 1976, returned to leasor by Conrail. Purchased by C&NW in February 1983, renumbered to C&NW during March 1983 to January 1984. Date retired 1994. Equipped with dynamic braking. EMD order number 7993. Sold to National Railway Equipment, Dixmoor, Ill., June 1994.
