Spaulding Tower, former Metra bilevel commuter cars, repainted into C&NW colors, and former Metra F7A locomotives, all preserved and on display at the Illinois Railway Museum, in 1998 and 1999.

Metra 7600 has been retired, donated to the Illinois Railway Museum, and repainted into Chicago & North Western colors. Originally C&NW 1, the car bears the number C&NW 6. It is on display and operated at the Museum.

Renumbered to Metra 7600. Donated to the Illinois Railway Museum in 1998. Repainted into Chicago & North Western colors. Although originally C&NW 1, the car bears the number C&NW 6. --had
