While the Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Red Unit train was in Chicago in 1999 I was able to photograph each car of the train, including each passenger car, large animal car, and vehicle flat car. There are several photos of most cars, taken from various angles.

The Red Unit train and the Blue Unit train alternate years on their routes and change their programming (and performers) on a two-year cycle. The Blue Unit train appeared in Chicago in November of 1998 and is scheduled to return in November of 2000. The Red Unit train appeared in Chicago in November of 1999 and is scheduled to return in November of 2001.
