Southern Pacific Lines

Reporting mark SP

The SP reporting mark has become part of the Union Pacific system. Some locomotives continue to carry SP markings. Many freight cars continue to have SP reporting marks, when repainted typically keeping their SP reporting mark and number, while acquiring a UP logo.
