Number 7 is believed to be onboard this train, engaged in still another railfan trip, or perhaps on the one that followed a few minutes later, shortly after this photographer had run out of electronic film. --had [source: private email discussion.]
Notice that the electrical overhead support is anchored to the ground on the lake [distant] end. This is one of the few in the Grant Park area that have not been cut short, as the number of tracks has been reduced. An articulated CTA bus loads passengers at Roosevelt Road. --had
