Leased from National Railway Equipment. Former Baltimore & Ohio 4805, former CSXT 2105.

CNW 4705, model GP38-2, built 9/70, builder number 36691, acquired by C&NW in 12/91, previous road number CSXT 2105, C&NW paint scheme TY [Traditional Yellow; modern version of the "Stagecoach yellow" used from 1991 to merger], renumber planned to UP 2064. C&NW 4701-4711 are on a 12-year leas from National Railway Equipment, Dixmoor, Ill., beginning in late December 1991. EMD GP38-2R, 11 units (4701-4711), B-B, 16-654E engine, 62:15 gear ratio, 2,000 horsepower, 278,000 pounds operating weight, equipped with dynamic braking. C&NW 4705 was built in September 1970, GM EMD GP32-2R, builder number 36681, as C&O 3870, renumbered to CSXT 2070. Leased to C&NW in December 1991 as C&NW 4705 on a 12-year lease from National Railway Equipment, Dixmoor (Illinois). Union Pacific originally planned to renumber C&NW 4705 in the 2063-2072 series, later plans to renumber to UP 1904.
