CNW 7033, model SD50, built 12/85, builder number 847049-34, C&NW paint scheme SYb [Safety yellow; "Sunburst" yellow, with Sans Serif block lettering, no sill stripe], renumber planned to UP 5093. C&NW 7033: Builder's Date: Dec 1985, Builder's Number: 847049-34. EMD SD50, 35 units, C-C, 16-654F3B engine, 62:15 gear ratio, 3,600 horsepower, 390,000 pounds operating weight. Equipped with Automatic Train Control and Pacesetter speed control, for slow speed loading of unit coal trains. Equipped with Union Pacific Coded Cab Signals, for use on Union Pacific lines. C&NW 7033 was built in December 1985, GM EMD SD50, builder number 847049-34. Union Pacific plans to renumber C&NW 7033 to UP 5093. Equipped with C&NW Automatic Train Control. Equipped with Pacesetter speed control, for slow-speed loading of unit coal trains. Upon becoming UP units, all ex-C&NW SD50s were als rebuilt to SD50Ms, reducing their horsepower from 3,600 to 3,500 and improving their cooling system, including the installation of eight-blade cooling fans.
